How to grant Facebook Page permissions

To grant Facebook Page permissions follow the steps below depending on the type of Ad account you have:

Business Ad Account

Go to Facebook Ads Manager and select the menu on the top left-hand side of the screen.


In the drop-down menu select Business Settings from the "Settings" section.


On the left-hand side menu select Pages under the "Accounts" section. Select the Facebook Page you want to assign people to (including yourself). If you have been assigned already your name should appear on the "People" section.


To assign people to the Page click the Add People button.


Select people from the drop-down menu, set permissions, and then click Assign.


The people name(s) will then appear as being assigned to the Page.

Personal Ad Account

Go to Facebook Ads Manager and select the menu on the top left-hand side of the screen.


In the drop-down menu select Settings from the "Settings" section.


On the left-hand side menu select Pages. You will see all the Facebook Pages you have access to as admin, advertiser or analyst.


If you want to add people as advertisers or administrators to your Ad account, go to the "Ad Account Roles" section on the right-hand side of the screen and click the Add People button.


Select the people, the role you want to give them, and click Confirm.
