To set up a Facebook ads account you need to have a personal Facebook profile. All Facebook profiles automatically have an ads account connected to them.

To access your personal ads account go into the setting on your Facebook page. In the menu on the left-hand side under the “Explore” section select the “Ads Manager” option.

On the left-hand side of the screen, you’ll have the following options:

Ad Account: This is where you can view your personal ad account along with any other ad accounts you may have access to.

In this section, you can view and edit your personal ad account information (ad account name, time zone, change currency, business address).

You can also assign roles to an individual on your ad account from here like advertisers or administrators

Pages: Into the “Pages” section you can view all the Facebook pages you have access to (admin, advertiser, analyst).

Payment Settings: In this section, you can add a payment method for your ad account.

You have the option to set the limit to control how much you want to spend on your ad account before your ads turn off. (it’s optional)
